World through the window

I would not know how I will feel if I ever acquire a throne but I will be certainly delighted to acquire a window side seat in a bus or train.
If I ever acquire such a seat, as though specially blessed by God, with a mixed feeling of contentment, gratitude and ecstasy, I will try to utter few chants which managed to come into my mouth from school days memory. A strange feeling of complete settlement in life is overwhelmed. Till I buy a ticket I have to pass restless minutes in an effort to falter my penchant for plunging into a fanciful world through my window.
When ever I look out of the window, I am engrossed in the colorful scenes slipping quick from the sight and the variety of sounds heard along with the undulating dance of the bus. The sight of enormously spread green fields evenly punctuated by electric posts is breathtaking. Far away contoured mountains are magnificient. I couldn’t prevent myself from stealthily waving back at those cheerful innocent country side urchins. They are the unpretentious pure souls and their joy of no reason is contagious.
It feels like I have separated completely from the human race. The nature’s handiwork takes me to a tranquil mood. The heart becomes lightened and the mind becomes enlightened. At one stage I feel myself as a heavenly body throwing a graceful look at the happenings move past. For a while the short sojourn makes one to abandon the evil and good thoughts that keep the mind ever engaged but to accept the simplicity of mere existence.
So for me looking out for a window seat is not one of the childish wishes; it is like looking forward for a spiritual enlightenment.
